In the north, one of the first signs of spring are the returning red-winged blackbirds. Even though it might look like winter outside, I know when I hear their melodic sounds, spring is on its way!
“Spring Duet” was inspired by my May trip to Monet’s Garden. I was able to spend 2 weeks in France studying Monet and his incredible paintings. The way he painted water and his use of color impacted me.
