Lori McNee is an American artist hailing from the stunning central mountains of Idaho. She creates diverse artwork, including poetic studio landscapes, vivid plein air studies, elegant still-life paintings, and wildlife art. Inspired by nature, Lori’s art reflects her deep love for the great outdoors and its magnificent creatures.

She is a Signature Member of Oil Painters of America, the American Impressionist Society, and an out-of-state member of the California Art Club. She is a certified Master Artist in Cobra Water-mixable Oil Paints and is an International Artist Ambassador for Royal Talens.

Additionally, Lori just released a new online painting course, “Transform Your Oil Painting Skills: Your Easy Guide to Water-Mixable Oils” which is available on her website, LoriMcNee.com. Her helpful instructional video, “Luminous Landscape Painting with Lori McNee,” is available as a DVD or downloadable format. Lori’s work has been featured in prestigious publications such as Fine Art Connoisseur, Plein Air Magazine, Artist’s Magazine, Southwest Art, The Wall Street Journal, The Huffington Post, American Art Collector, and Western Art Collector, among others.

When not in her studio, Lori enjoys skiing and trekking mountaintops with her dogs, capturing the beauty of nature through her photography, tending to her family farm, spending time with her grandchildren, and traveling the world to share her love and knowledge of art through her workshops.
